Web Development Skills
|
It's in the nature of technically inclined people to have skills pertaining to more than one area of technology. Nonetheless, everyone has an area of specialty. I'm personally more of a software person, but with that, I realize it's essential that I'm good with in other areas as well. Those skills are there, but I'm omitting them from this page due to their irrelevancy to the topic. I've compiled a list of these skills on the miscellaneous skills page.
My current focus is programming and designing. Below is a table I put together my web development skills.

- MySQL, Flatfile, XML
- Microsoft Office Excel by extension

| PHP |
- Experience on object oriented programming, as well as imperative programming - code is always optimized and well structured.
- Good with scraping and parsing data from outside sources or formats
- Manipulation and creation of all aforementioned database formats
- Skilled with the GD library, image manipulation

| JavaScript |
- Lots of experience with AJAX, and XML integration
- Creation of interactive web GUIs that interact with PHP, and MySQL
- Familiar with DOM objects
- Code always optimized, staying away from frameworks where possible, but capable of integrating frameworks for increased functionality where necessary
- Browser and platform cross-compatibility

- Code always complies with standards (XHTML 1.0 Strict)
- Strong abilities in cross-browser support, if required, even mobile browsers

| Design |
- Photoshop, Imageready, Illustrator
- Vector drawing, logo design, website design, animation
