Hello, I'm Kavi Siegel, and welcome to KaviSiegel.com. I'm a web developer, and I thought it would be cool to put together an online portfolio/resume. As of right now, I do mainly PHP, MySQL, Javascript, HTML, and CSS. I've been doing web development since I was in the 7th grade. I started out coding other people's designs into HTML, and naturally moved on from that point. I'm currently working on getting my Computer Science BS. I graduated from Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School in 2010, where I took in Manufacturing Technologies, and learned how to machine and weld. I went to SkillsUSA in 2008 for precision turning, and I was nominated to go in 2009 for CNC Milling. I also dabble a little in Electronics; I'm trying to learn physical computing on my own. At this point though, I'm getting good at hacking circuits, fixing things, and just designing/creating relatively simple things.

     In January of 2009, I decided to join my school's robotics team - which, honestly, was an unlikely move. It ended up being an amazing expereince though, because while discussing design, machining parts, wiring and programming the robot, I've realized what my ideal career would be. I figured that I want to eventually pursue a career in research and development, or prototyping. I can machine parts, wire things up, and program them - and I enjoy it all.
